How ProScreeners works
Every screener runs in your browser. Your browser fetches market data straight from the provider (Binance, CoinPaprika and Hyperliquid for crypto, OKX for crypto perpetual futures, Deribit for crypto options, Alpaca for US stocks, ETFs and US options, and Massive for CME futures), works out the indicators, and shows the results. Nothing you scan goes through our servers.
- Crypto, crypto perps and crypto options need no account and no key, and every screener opens on crypto.
- US stocks, ETFs and US options use your own free Alpaca market-data key, and CME futures your own free Massive key, because those prices are licensed. Keys are saved only in your browser and sent only to their provider.
- Optional auto-refresh updates the results in place every 30 seconds, minute or 5 minutes while you’re watching. It’s off until you turn it on.
- Every list can be sorted by any column, filtered by symbol and exported to CSV.
- Click a symbol to open its chart on FreeCharting, our free sister site for charts.
Frequently asked questions
Are the screeners really free?
Yes. ProScreeners is supported by ads. There are no paid plans, no sign-up and no limit on how often you scan.
How current is the data?
Crypto and crypto perps data is live from the exchanges. Stock data from Alpaca’s free plan is 15 minutes behind the market, and futures data from Massive’s free plan is 8 hours delayed. The technical screeners use daily candles.
Is this investment advice?
No. The screeners are tools for research and learning. A stock, coin or contract showing up in a list is not a recommendation to buy or sell it.
